Segundo esta entrevista: All of Piccinini's sculptures were created by Australian artist Sam Jinks. Jinks was a special effects sculptor and concept artist who she hired and who is now starting to get established as a recognized fine artist on his own (...) Jinks has told me that Piccinini was always free herself to disclose who he was and that he made the sculptures, but in truth the machinery behind her which she could have stopped, was deliberate in presenting everything that came out with her name as her work. My feelings about Piccinini and the artists like her is that they are more like brand names.

Ou seja, a Piccinini tem uma equipa grande a trabalhar para/com ela e os créditos aparecem com um único nome: Patricia Piccinini. Ela foi buscar um artista australiano (ela também é) que é especialista em figuras hiper-realistas.

Outro artista, citado no texto acima, diz que o caso se torna mais intenso quando surgem exposições da Piccinini "apenas" com as esculturas do outro... mas,, reparemos no trabalho do escultor hiper-realista, a solo - Sam Jinks:

É um trabalho interessante, impressionante, até. Mas não tem nada a ver com aquele feito pelo mesmo Sam Jinks para a brand da Piccinini. São esculturas hiper-realistas, mas assim:

Têm outra dimensão. São dela.
